The overwhelming affect of television, our jobs, family, and so many other things in our life can make it seem as if we are running around like crazy and it will never stop. Not only your physical health, but your sanity can take a beating from this overwhelm affect. It can make a huge difference if you work on slowing things down in your life and learning to meditate.
Of course there are many ways to do this, one of those ways being yoga or a regular workout. Nothing feels better than the relaxation you get when you finish a really great workout. Another option that I have used with great success are meditation tapes that help you to relax though powerful mental suggestions. To enhance them, make sure you are laying in your bed with very comfortable sheets like silk bedding or something like that.
